All equipment we sell comes with a warranty, however the length of warranty is determined by the total price paid including VAT, but excluding carriage costs.
Warranties are for the periods stated, and are RETURN TO BASE.
All equipment sold will come with a warranty unless the item is expressly described as sold without warranty.
Warranty details are as follows:-
New printers and TFT screens are sold with a manufacturers warranty. In the case of a problem you approach the manufacturer directly, not CFU Ltd.
Base units up to £130.00 carry a return to base warranty of 3 months.
Base units over £130.00 carry a return to base warranty of 6 months.
Laptops up to £100.00 carry a return to base warranty of 30 days. Warranty excludes batteries.
Laptops over £100.00 carry a return to base warranty of 3 months. Warranty excludes batteries.
TFT screens carry a return to base warranty of 3 months.
CRT Monitors carry a return to base warranty of 30 days.
All peripherals carry a 30 day return to base warranty.
In the event of a problem first contact us, it may be something we can resolve over the phone, if not, you will need to return the item to us at your expense.
We have a quick turnaround policy and any warranty claims are dealt with as a matter of urgency. We will keep you informed throughout the process and once the warranty claim is dealt with, we will return the item to you at our expense.
PLEASE NOTE. IF YOU DO NEED TO RETURN ANYTHING TO US UNDER A WARRANTY CLAIM, PLEASE ENSURE THE ITEM IS PROPERLY PACKED, PREFERABLY IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY INADEQUATE PACKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS A WARRANTY CLAIM
